What does the Chamber of Commerce do for me? The Camp Verde Chamber of Commerce exists for business and community growth and retention; and a healthy and diverse economy for the community of Camp Verde, its membership, and visitors. The Chamber of Commerce acts as a business promotion center where member businesses can supply the Chamber with brochures, business cards and flyers for visitors' reference. Members can have their web page linked to the Chamber's website and have "Current Updates" or "news Briefs" published in the monthly newsletter. Members can also network with other members and businesses at the monthly mixers, meetings and events. The Camp Verde Chamber of Commerce provides service to more than 8,000 visitors each year as well as assisting with more than 7,000 telephone calls and correspondence annually. The Chamber of Commerce is diligent in promoting new business as well as retaining existing business. Opportunities for Involvement As a Chamber member, you have the opportunity to be involved in many different action teams. Each Action Team is created by the Board of Directors and also chaired by a member of the Board. Each Action Team serves under the guidance of the Board of Directors and the Executive Director. The goals of each Action Team are determined by the Board and carried out by the team.. Established Action Teams include:
Membership Benefits The Membership Directory allows members to receive maximum visibility. the directory is an excellent marketing tool and allows members and non-members to seek out business services. Networking at Mixers and at various events provides invaluable business contacts, cultivates new and prospective clients, and allows other members to discover you and your business. The Chamber Connection Newsletter keeps members informed of Chamber events, new members and business news. Affordable advertising is available to members through business cards, flyers and news briefs. Tourism Development is vital and important to all business communities. The Chamber office executes a variety of advertising, public relations and marketing campaigns to increase visitors to Camp Verde and the surrounding business communities. Member Referral Service is an extremely valuable service provided to chamber members. There are more than 7,000 phone calls and correspondence inquiring about businesses and services in the area as well as over 8.500 visitors seeking the same information annually. The chamber staff and volunteers recommend all of our members and direct clientele to your door. Grand Opening and Ground Breaking for your business allows the Chamber to arrange a photo opportunity with local news papers as well as having key government officials and Chamber Board members on-site to support the cutting of the ribbon. All grand openings and groundbreakings are featured in the monthly newsletter. Community Information Center is a large role that the Chamber office plays in daily operations. Chamber members can display business cards, brochures and flyers in the office as well as hosting monthly mixers and sponsoring the office coffee. |
